“I cannot say enough positive things about Michelle and her daycare. My son went from age 2 to 5 up until he started Kindergarten. I drove him 30 minutes one way … because it was beyond worth it.”Katie Google review

In His Care isn't a big institutional center — it's a nationally accredited family childcare home in Garfield, run by Michelle Mendoza, where a small group of children are cared for by name, taught with real training, and loved every day.

Meet Michelle
“Teaching children has always been an honor to me. I believe that God has given me His heart for children and their families.”
In His Care began with a dream Michelle carried for years: a childcare home where every child is treasured as a unique gift from God — and every family is treated like part of her own. In her home in Garfield, days are full of Bible stories and block towers, art and backyard adventures, patient encouragement and a whole lot of love.
That warmth is backed by real training. Children here are cared for by two teachers with degrees in Early Childhood Education, both CPR and first-aid certified — so faith and play are matched by genuine early-learning expertise.
And the door stays open. Michelle's open-door policy means you're always welcome to visit your child — because that's what care in a family home feels like.
A home, not an institution
In His Care is a licensed Arkansas family child care home. That's the whole point: a real home, a small licensed group, and a caregiver who knows your child's favorite book and how they like to be comforted.
Credentials that matter
Choosing childcare comes down to two questions: is my child safe and truly cared for, and are the people trained to do it well? At In His Care, the answer to both is yes.
Family Child Care Home — held to national standards for quality care.

Loved & learning — days here follow Arkansas early-childhood standards, wrapped in the warmth of a Christian home.
