Miss Michelle & a story on her lap
Meet Michelle
“Teaching children has always been an honor to me. I believe that God has given me His heart for children and their families.”
In His Care began with a dream Michelle carried for years: a childcare home where every child is treasured as a unique gift from God — and every family is treated like part of her own. In her home in Garfield, days are full of Bible stories and block towers, art and backyard adventures, patient encouragement and a whole lot of love.
Faith & Learning
“Let the little children come to me.” — Matthew 19:14
Here, faith isn't a subject on the schedule — it's woven through the whole day, matched with real, standards-aligned early learning that helps little ones grow ready for kindergarten and rooted in God's Word.
Our Care
One loving home, one familiar caregiver — from first bottles to backpacks.
From 6 weeks
Gentle, unhurried care for the littlest ones — safe arms, calm routines, and plenty of snuggles.
Toddler – Pre-K
Bible-based lessons and playful, purposeful learning that gets little ones truly ready for kindergarten.
School-age kids
A safe, familiar place before the first bell and after the bus — snacks, help, and room to play.
Flexible
Full-time and part-time openings to fit your family — plus drop-in care when space permits.
Nourishing meals are part of every day here, so little ones stay fueled for learning and play. And every now and then, food becomes the lesson itself — the children help pick out seeds and plant a garden, learning where their food comes from by growing their own.
Days at In His Care
Bible stories and block towers, art and outdoor adventures, new words and new friends — every day here is planned with purpose, and filled with room to wonder.
We go on field trips
“When the children see the bus in the driveway, they know they're going somewhere. They start talking about the bus — and it brings lots of conversations about where we're going.”
Learning doesn't stop at the front door. A ride on the bus turns an ordinary morning into an adventure — sparking anticipation, questions, and curiosity long before they arrive. From indoor play places to hands-on outings, children experience the world together and come home with stories to tell.
